A return to the Land of Fiction?

The Four Doctor

Commander
Red Shirt
Would anyone here be interested in a televised return to the Land of Fiction from The Mind Robber (Troughton)?

I'd love to see how fictional characters react to how people in our world use them in their adaptions and stories.

I'm certain I've heard some fans that insist that a bunch of the last season or two have been set in the Land of Fiction. Probably since before Day of the Doctor.

And then, one day, the Doctor figures it out and manages to wake himself from his horrid dreams. He wakes up inside the TARDIS. It is mostly white again. The round things are back. It is quite dusty though. He stands up to find a skeleton wearing the remains of a pink shirt on the other side of the room. He's not sure who that is at first until he looks down and seen the old dusty mutli-colored jacket. "Sorry Mel. I was too late this time."

The idea of the story having a monster is too engrained now. Even Listen, which didn't really have a monster, still needed the illusion of one.

I'd like to see "The Highlanders" revisited. If nothing more that to get Capaldi going off in Scotland. But also for the potental of a McCrimmon companion.

I don't believe that. I think that's what the BBC thinks the public want. The last three years have been fairly samey and it would be nice if they did something different.

It has been like that since basically after The Highlanders (the last purely historical story that I can recall). After the Second Doctor's second story.
