Go to the wikipedia article located right here. It has a picture of the inside of the ballpark, which is already near completion. Then tell me this:
What are all those gray box-like objects all over the place? I'm guessing they're not actual video screens. The actual screens would appear to be the one in the center, the one that displays the 'Welcome To Citi Field' logo, and the one in right field which is not being used in this picture (it's black, not gray). So what do those gray ones do?
On the Mets' official site, it has computer rendered images in which those things appear to be showing logos. Linky Is that all they'll do? How do they do that? I'm guessing they're not just inert pieces of concrete (or whatever) with tarps draped over them. If those are actual computer displays of some kind, then are they going to do anything other than just show logos all day?
Oh, and one other thing. I do not want this thread to turn into a debate over the merits of Citi Field itself, or its naming rights controversy, or the quality of the Mets' performance, or any other ridiculous bullshit like that. I only want an answer to the question I posed. Y'all think you can manage that?
