A "New" Star Trek Convention ?

has anyone been to their show(s) in the past ? Better than Creation conventions ? this show (Oct)..might be pretty good, if they combine it with "other" stuff--like Toys/Comics/Other Sci-Fi ?

I just marked this on my calendar. Hollywood is only a 45 minute ride for me, so I'll definitely check it out. Looks like a great lineup. Plus they have a MUCH better website design than Creation. :P

I wish they'd done this three or four years ago, when I lived walking distance from the hotel, as opposed to now when I'm in New York...!

I wonder how this convention will compare to Creation conventions ?

I'm probably going..esp if they have "other" things besides Star Trek (Toy, other Sci-Fi)--almost like a Comic Con type convention ?
