This woman looks like a real life Barbie Doll, and uses makeup and contact lenses and so forth to actually LOOK like a doll.

Weird.

A supermodel at least looks human with organic skin. A doll obviously looks more plastic and synthetic.

A lot of it has to do with photography tricks, such as angles and lighting, where it will often exaggerate their foreheads and their eyes. In the link that Ar-Pharazon posted for instance, some shots look more normal, which shows the difference.

That said though, I guess I don't get the appeal of wanting to look fake.

No. This thread is about a Russian model who posts pictures of herself to her tumblr. The living Barbie is Sarah Burge, who spent a $ million on plastic surgery and famously gave her daughter a voucher for lipo.

The chick is this thread also had lots of surgeries to look like Barbie. Never heard of the other one before. But now that I have looked her up, I don't see it.

The woman in this thread looks exactly like Barbie. Moreso than Sarah Burge.
