A few questions brought about from the mirror universe episodes

1) Given her placement in the mirror universe is Georgiou the daughter/granddaughter of Hoshi Sato?
2) With all the references to the Star Trek Enterprise episodes and TOS tholian web episode and the fact that Kirk had no knowledge of the Terran Empire are we going to see discovery jump to the future? When the show was originally pitched the original idea was to create a show that took place over different times.
3) If the crew is brought back to their own time and place that they left will the Defiant be the way that they can keep continuity? Since mirror mirror takes place before the tholian web the details of what happened were probably kept classified due to the temporal prime directive.

1) no. not in the sense that they are blood relatives. the Empire is based on the Roman Empire where the heir to the emperor was usually adopted
2) unlikely, but who knows?
3) I don't know, I haven't seen episodes 13-15 yet

1) I doubt it. Since this is the mirror universe she probably just killed Hoshi, or whoever her sucessor was.
2) Probably not, but it does sound like a cool concept. Like, have Discovery be lost in time for a season or so, appearing all over time. Actually, I think I'm just pitching Doctor Who with a less controlable TARDIS here.
3)Probably the temporal prime directive.

1: Very unlikely, they are not even the same racial group. She may have been adopted by the last emperor. The Roman Empire did this
2: Unknown, but there are ways to explain how this info does not make it into general knowledge. Once more, how many knew about the USS Pegasus?
3: Yeah, the whole thing is gonna be so classified it is buried for all time. That and they really do not know when the Defiant gets sucked in, 2 days after they left or 20 years, who knows. Not like they see a crew list or anything.

1) No, but it wouldn't surprise me, nor would I particularly care if it was so.
2) Not the worst idea of all time at all. If they became a time travel ship, i'd like them to go to like 1600 years ago and prevent Vulcan/Romulan split (if I recall correctly that it was around 400AD)
3) Anything but temporal prime directive. Uggh! Just send them to the time right after The Tholian Web. And show us the Enterprise already.

If they are going to use the Defiant rift to return to the Prime Universe, then they probably will learn all the relevant detail first, and Starfleet can and will use it to preempt "The Tholian Web" from ever happening. But odds are that it won't work in getting the heroes home - as the Emperor reminded us, the rift makes people murderously insane. And thus the heroes need not learn the detail...

But the heroes already know too much: Starfleet would think a lot is at stake, and would strike a decisive blow against the Terran Empire by equipping the Defiant (and, if needed, all its other ships as well) with a devious scuttling charge that is triggered by quantum signature change! So the odds might be that our heroes never get to tell what they know, at least not before "The Tholian Web" has happened. I like the time displacement idea a lot... Although it's theoretically associated with rift travel, not spore travel.

Nothing so far suggests our DSC heroes would have learned of the "Mirror, Mirror" incident. But in theory, the Emperor might have gotten a whiff of it from the Defiant files (depending on how extensive they were), and already has plans in motion to kill MU Spock and kill or capture PU Kirk, McCoy and Uhura when the time is ripe. Perhaps the DSC heroes are going to do something about that, even if they don't really know it needs doing?

Makes you wonder if everyone in the fleet knew of the MU in TOS era or if it was still classified.
