Just found out that they're in stock at WhoNA for an extremely reasonable $13.95. Placed my order and am now waiting, Scott Pilgrim-style, in front of my mailbox, for it to arrive.

Silva actually had it up for free download for a couple of hours last week but their site was overflooded and it got taken down. Looking forward to getting this.

I recall I watched the Confidential (gawd knows why, it's a habit I ought to break), and Gold was saying how he wanted to sound a bit like Muse. I had to go to A&E to get my face removed from my palm.

Anyone know when or if this CD is ever going to be released in Canada? I haven't found it on Amazon or even iTunes yet, and couldn't find any info online. I'm getting antsy!

If it hasn't been made available through those services yet, I think it's likely it won't be anytime soon. Silva Screen is hit-and-miss, I find. Sometimes their releases even show up even in stores like HMV, but most times I end up ordering via the UK version of Amazon. That's what I did with the last couple of soundtrack releases. They will ship to Canada, but it might cost a couple bucks extra for postage (though I wouldn't bother until the Canada Post strike is over).

One could tweet Murray and ask him about a Canadian release. I've asked him before and didn't get a response. He does answer fans though and chats quite often.

Any idea why it wasn't released at the time of the episode?vWere they waiting to see if it was a popular episode?

The Doctor Who soundtracks are rarely released at the time of the episode. It has nothing to do with the proximity.

Sorry to drag this thread up again, but considering the season, it seemed somewhat timely. After wrapping up my DW Christmas specials rewatch with "A Christmas Carol" last night, I went into iTunes and did a search for "Abigail's Song" and, lo and behold, up came the score for this episode at last. I have no idea when it finally made its appearance in iTunes (Canada), but there it is now. That particular song is also available on Kathryn Jenkins' latest album as well.

I really want another "doctor who proms"

It's my hope that Katherine Jenkins can perform it there. I'd love to see it performed on TV.
