7 Could shrink voyager 2 the size of a matchBox if she felt like it.

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
From DS9 One Little Ship

KIRA: So, how small are they?
NOG: The miniaturisation process won't begin until the runabout reaches the edge of the accretion disc.
KIRA: I see. And then they'll begin to shrink?
NOG: Yes, sir.
SISKO: Major, are you laughing at our investigation of this subspace anomaly?
KIRA: No, sir.
WORF: The data collected here could provide Starfleet with the key to creating transwarp corridors through space. It could give us a substantial tactical advantage over the Dominion.
KIRA: It's very important research. What? I'm not laughing. Just because we are shrinking three people to the size of coffee cups.
(And collapses in hysterical laughter.)
NOG: Smaller, actually.
WORF: I do not see what is so humorous about being small.
NOG: Neither do I.
Once you get past the fact that Seven suspiciously wasn't opening transwarp conduits to get Voyager home, and you realize that miniaturization is a 'vital" component of travelling through a transwarp conduit, and a half measure is usually easier than a full measure... Are there any missions/adventures that could have been solved faster and better by Voyager shrinking down to the size of a Christmas tree decoration?

And...

If they reduced all that mass, wouldn't simple geometry says that their top speed would multiply by the factor of mass they divided, which would add a dozen decimal places to their point nine recurring top warp speed... If their shields could withstand the strain.

Seriously in scientific method? Those aliens bolted to Voyagers hull didn't alter the warp geometry of the Ship? Or the Additional weight is they were dead weight, or the thrust they were exerting if... i mean if Archer can figure out he's towing freeloaders, it can't be that hard to figure out.

But matchbox Voyager could so Han Solo and piggy back on other star ships to save time on customs and excises, as well as fuel and...

thoughts?

Do you just mop up what spills out of your head at night from your pillow and wipe it all over the forum?

Why haven't we seen teenie miniature starships the size of coffee cups? Why does everyone evolve into kind of the same size? I mean a Ferengi and a Klingon are a lot closer in size than the inhabitants of coffee cup sized starship.

Guy Gardener, it makes every bit of sense in the world. Too bad the writers of that episode didn't work on VOY!

teacake, I remember the Terratin Incident (Animated Series), but that was started by an accident or something of that nature.

Yes, why don't they have naturally small sentient beings?

When Mulgrw was on Cheers? That was when Diane was in the bar right?

I'm wondering how Savvik would would have done as the captian of Voyager?

So yes Baron. all my thoughts am belong here.

Oh Look!

Episode 208 of Veronica's Closet... It's Cashyak!

I mean how can you be involved in science fiction and still call some bugger the same name as the homeworld of the Wookies?

But there a villain in Enterprise called Valin.

"Sigh"

I really need to change my pillow slips.

The Wookie planet did have 3 "y"'s in it. Kashyyyk.

None of that is as bad as Babylon 5 having Dukhat.

In Russian when they print the R's backwards, does that make a different sound or count as an extra letter?
