1. This contest is centered on the Season Six episode The Haunting of Deck Twelve. Neelix tells the Borg children a story about an alien lifeform that commandeers Voyager, but is the story true?
2. The VOY theme as chosen by apenpaap will be "Your favourite alien(s)." Any alien species Voyager encountered on their way home would work.
3. The random theme as chosen by od0_ital will be "Reboot This!" Star Trek, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Battlestar Galactica...and a bunch of other stuff has gotten rebooted the last few years, so let's see what y'all can come up with.

The Rules: Avs not to exceed 140x140 px and not be over 70kb in file size. Avs can be static pictures or animated, just don't go over the restrictions posted previously. One av entry per category. The theme must be Voyager related while the random is just that, random from anything. The contest runs on a bi-weekly schedule so entries will be accepted until June 29, 2009 sometime in the evening.

I remember how many months I eagerly waited for SW episode I to be released at cinemas - and how disappointed I was after watching it. But that promotional image is way cool, it was the first thing I thought of when reading the random theme instructions.

Ah well, I was a tad disappointed by the movie too. I liked the novel much more.

I haven't read the novel but I imagine it's better than the movie. I guess I expected the tone of the movie to be like episode IV to VI, which probably was my first mistake.

Hm, "old" is apparently something relative

Well I've read the novel with 18, it was my first touch with SW. The chemistry between Anakin and Amidala was plain awesome there; the race was better too, sorry I can't remember more details. The overall impression from the movie (that I saw with 20 - that is 4 years after its release!) was that it had cool special effects in the prejustice of interpersonal relationships.
