690 Trek episodes together

The beginnings of 690 episodes all at once; perhaps Gary Mitchell or the Talosians can appreciate it.

I always thought that Paradise and Shadowplay were interesting mirrors of each other. I didn't know that the opening shot of one episode was literally mirrored for the start of the other!

They trimmed five seconds off of the scene between Chakotay and Tom Paris in episode 53 of Voyager. Why would they do that?

Strangely hypnotic. And interesting to see how some episodes managed the exact same length of pre-credits teaser. But my question: is 690 the exact number of episodes up to and including ENT? Or are some episodes missing here?

Memory Alpha lists TATV as the 726 Trek production overall, but that's including movies and TAS. If you remove the ten movies that had been released up to that point, and the twenty-two episodes of TAS, that leaves 694.

Of course, 694 is the number you get from counting the two-hour telemovie-length episodes as two episodes. If you were to count them as one, that actually gets you 689. So, either one of our counts is off, or the YouTuber just rounded up.

Sorry, but I can't even watch a few seconds of that. Forget about nine-and-a-half minutes. Saying it looks busy in the extreme doesn't even begin to cover it. And it sounds like static. This is an example of, "Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should."

I can't think of a purpose for it off the top of my head, but I'm sure it could be useful to someone somehow. Like... if you wanted to know what the longest or shortest teaser is, or how many episodes begin with the same stock establishing shot, or something like that. I'm glad they made it anyway.
