5 New G.I.Joe Character Posters Revealed

Personally, I'm looking forward to this movie. I know a lot of people are bashing it, and we haven't even seen any footage yet.

i lol'd at what Stephen Sommers told one of the Brit film mags: Everyone slagged off Transformers and it was one of the big hits of 2007. I'm not worried about what they say on the internet.

it's one of my 3 most want-to-see movies of 2009 with Wolverine and Revenge of the Fallen...

Sommers gave me one of my top five favorite films with The Mummy. But it seems that he may never make a good flick again...

I wish these posters depicted more than characters, which we'd already seen better stills of before. I wish they'd show a hint of iconic scenes from the mythos.
A really cool poster would show Snakeyes, wounded, carrying an unconscious and also wounded Scarlett in his arms in the midst of the battle, hinting how he saved her but received permanent scarring in the process. It could look kind of like Btman carrying anconscious Rachel in his arms, which is a gr4eat poster in and of itself, but would have even more meaning in terms of THIS story

I don't think the producers get it. One of the best things about GI Joe were the individualized uniforms. I mean, if every toy figure had been dressed in black, how many do you think would have sold?

Exactly...I don't get why they're not using the traditional uniforms. I mean I can see the Cobra Guard soldiers using outfits like these, but not every GI Joe character.

everyone's forgetting that in the original 1982 GI Joes, they were all wearing a standardised uniform of green shirts and trousers and identical helmets. Snake Eyes and Scarlett were the only exceptions. the only individualisations were Rock'n'Roll's ammo belts, Hawk's visor, Steeler's visor, Flash's vest and a few other similar things.

individual outfits would probably come in GI Joe 2...

I SO want this movie to be good. I am such a huge fan of the comic book series I just hope they do they GI Joe universe good (ala transformers). But I gotta say, Sommers, I hated all the Mummy's so I don't have a lot of faith there.
But the posters look pretty B.A.
