Okay, I'll admit my brain froze-up when the challenge was set as "sport", but I finally managed to drum up an idea.

A TOS orbital skydive... here's the start:

I'm not entirely sure what to do with the target world/atmosphere, yet. Hopefully I'll figure something out by the deadline.

Yeah, Risa's a good idea. But with limited time I decided just to go for the standard TOS "magenta" planet.

Kirk actually was to do a skydive at the beginning of Generations--some footage was even shot.

Yeah, that's kind of where I got the idea from. I wonder if Kirk falling to Earth would have replaced the opening shot with the champagne bottle?
