^I find myself being the bearer of news about the new movie to most of my friends. Even the "Trekkies" amongst them. Comes from frequenting this site...

^ Shoot...I had a conversation only on Friday afternoon with a work Trekkie friend who didn't know there was a movie coming out. And I work in a tech company where life-sized cardboard cutouts of Darth Vader, action figures adorning cubicals, and discussions about Dragon*Con taking place on the company wide 'social' email distribution list are pretty normal.
