Alcatel, a large North American mobile phone manufacturer, has partnered with CBS Interactive to debut what they are calling a “VR experience” at major tech conference CES 2017.

No actual footage. Slightly different logo.

The hallway is like nothing we've seen before. Maybe it's a gauge on how the interiors will look.

It's just a "teaser" though. Kind of significant to those who were clamoring for prime universe stuff.

Here it is:

There are higher resolutions available on YouTube.
You can also pause the video and take a look around.

I watched this on YouTube last night but in my sleep deprived state I did not realize this was connected with DSC. This is presumably a way of them acknowledging what has gone before, which is nice. However, from what I can tell this does not provide any information about DSC itself.

Nice! But kind of weird to produce a clip with (almost) all previous Enterprises as a teaser for a show about a ship called Discovery.

Music clip from "11001001", I believe. And oddly, the E-D's saucer impulse engines are lit... Whose CG meshes would these be, I wonder? Not the leftovers from Paramount..?

Interesting warp effect at the end. Doesn't really convey speed.

I assume all the CG are assets left over from the TOS and TNG remasters, as well as ENT.

I don't remember ever seeing a CGI Regula One in an episode of Trek, unless it was made for a SOTL calendar or something.

^There was one made for the TWOK DVD menus. I can't tell if this is the same model.

Thanks for the video! :bolian: Although it has almost nothing to do with DSC it's a cool video nonetheless.
