It's really just a chat room with moving avatars. It's a fun place to hang out online, especially with people you actually know from the real world but you're seperated by distance or whatnot.

Agreed. There was a member of the BBS--I believe it was Glyphous Scintillion--who invited me to join and give it a try. Actually, I had more fun playing The Sims 2. At least I had simoleons to spend on tons of objects.
I tried it for a couple weeks three years ago. I couldn't really get into it. It just never piqued my interest.
Same here. The graphics quality left much to be desired. Last year they did a Second Life episode on CSI: NY (maybe it was a marketing ploy to try to promote it). I came back out of curiosity and still wasn't satisfied with the graphics, controls, and overall gameplay (if there was even that element).

I tried it back when it first came out, and then a couple of months ago, it's still just "meh" for me. If I want to chat, I log into my WoW account and hit up on the ladies in the Inn.
