25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites cheats?

I was going to start playing these games again... and for some reason, I remember that there was some cheat you can use to skip the ship combat sequences.

Is this true? If not, are there trainers or something?

I can't speak for Judgment Rites, but I'm not aware of any cheats for any version of 25th A. Some of the ship battles are key in the missons.

There are not a lot of ship to ship combat bits in them, just stick to cadet setting, that way you will have no problems with the ship too ship bits, and those setting don't really affect the game in general anyway.

Well there was one cheat or glitch for 25th Anni games in the ship combat sections...

Press ~( the key next to the 1 on your keyboard) during combat to fly in reverse. Your opponents will not be able to lock onto your vessel.

Huh, really? I knew about being able to fly in reverse, but I wasn't aware that the enemies would have trouble getting a target lock in that case.

yep. And turn up your monitor's brightness to 'see through' cloaks.

The trick is to take out the Elasi escorts first.
