really reminded me of
USS Equinox (NCC-72381) was a Nova-class Federation starship in long-range scout/tactical vessel

It was the original design for the USS Defiant (NX-74205)

Personally, I see little similarities in the design. Perhaps in purpose.

Personally, it looks like a re-imagine of the refit for the JJ'verse with late 24th cent. nacelles. lol

Not seeing the Nova connection, but it's obviously a Constitution knock-off (they say so in the opening paragraph!)

Other than that the nacelles and somewhat the saucer remind me of the fan created Excelsior-B design...which I think I've said somewhere on here before.
