24: Day 8 "9:00AM - 10:00AM": Discussion and Spoilers

They detonate nulcear weapons in American cities and I kick their ass.

They smuggle in nuclear materials and I kick their ass.

They assassinate world leaders and I... well, Ok, I kind-of dropped the ball on that one.

Then when they've got me down, at my lowest point where I've failed in my mission and they've won they day they go and pull on my cape. We'll, I'm not going to take it. This far! No further! And I will make them pay for what they have done. Why? Because my name is Jack Bauer, I'm the goddamn Federal Agent of their nightmares and today is the longest day of my life.

The following takes place between 9:00AM and 10:00AM.

Well, it's a week later and I still thinking killing Renee was a fucking awful, stupid move. It's killed my enthusisam for the rest of the season. I'll still watch though, because it's almost the end of the show's run and I like to torture myself. But seriously, what else can the show do at this point? Make Kim the villain behind everything?

This thread is awesome though. Always some fun comments.

Speaking of which, I'll restate what I did a few days ago. Jack has finally had sex on 24 but unless he took a golden shower on Renee, he still hasn't gone to the bathroom.

I highly recommend Kick Ass, which was an awesome film.

Like you, I will torture myself for the rest of this 'day' mainly because this is the final one, partly because I've been here from the very beginning with these discussions, but mostly because I just have a lot of fun with you guys.

And is it just me, or does anyone else wonder why they haven't found Stephen Root's decaying body stuffed into the airducts in the bowels of CTU yet? Shouldn't he be stinking the place up by now? My guess is that he'll haunt the halls of CTU, constantly in search of his stapler...

It's painful to realize that all of the good actors get killed off and we're stuck with Katee Sackhoff, Hassan's wife and daughter and the horrible Russian actors. If we're going back to the Russians, can we bring back Jurgen Prochnow?

As to the unbelievability of this episode, right now I don't care. Kiefer's performance here was some kind of nice. Very effective.
