Awesome. Purple Nurple of DOOOOM! That was a great episode, but vengeance demands more blood.

Can't wait for next week. Logan is so fucked. Awesome body armor.

But is Madsen going to don a similar outfit, so when Jack gets knocked down, he'll have someone to appropriately drag him behind cover and make amusing action-movie quips?

And yes, theSIM card still working.... wouldn't the stomach acid render that somewhat difficult? Guess it would matter what he had to eat last.
SIM cards are plastic and metal, not tissue paper and sponge cake, and it wasn't in there that long. Stomach acid isn't Alien blood.

Jack doesn't need no stinkin back-up to take on an entire security detail! That's a brisk walk in the park for him.

Logan's next phone call should be to Tony in jail.

"Sorry about that whole killing your wife thing...want to kill Jack Bauer for me?"

This is odd. Another Excellent from me, despite the fact that Chloe had to beat me over the head with a Sprint mobile router.

Taylor is covering up all the crimes the Russians are responsible for. Including the deaths. Like Ethan said, those are impeachable offenses.

But before the plot started to spiral out of control, Taylor wasn't 'covering up' anything because she had no definitive evidence against any particular individual. Just because we the viewer are privy to all the telephone conversations of the villains doesn't mean that there is enough available evidence out there to secure a conviction.

All Taylor had was an alleged witness who was refusing to talk unless she got a immunity deal. It should be up to CTU to decide when and how to interrogate Walsh (and that shouldn't include torture or smashing her head into a desk - those are criminal offences in themselves incidentally) but it is up the President to decide if she wants to give an immunity order otherwise what's the point in asking her permission for one?

Jack is an experienced spook. He must know that having evidence against the Russians is far more valuable as future leverage than a few convictions of low level minions, the ruination of a peace deal that the Russians didn't want anyway, and a souring of international relations. I realise that Jack is meant to be grief-stricken and out for justice but it frustrates me how limp the contra argument seems to be. This is meant to be adult drama but its morality is childishly black and white, including the way Jack breaks the law repeatedly and suffers no long-term consequences as a direct result of his actions.

The of course because the President can't possibly pick up the phone to the Russian leadership and give them a bollocking AFTER the peace agreement, she starts acting like a nutter.

Oh and of course as a witness to a homicide involving someone with whom he had a close personal relationship, procedure normally would deny Jack the right to interrogate anybody remotely connected to it. He is nothing more than a witness. Taylor was right to shut him down!

It was an Army of Two reference. Of course Jack doesn't really need help with Logan's detail.

And Taylor has had Logan telling her again and again what exactly was going on and what she'd have to cover up to keep the peace process going. She's gone along with every thing he's told her to do. She is morally bankrupt and has cemented her place as the shittiest "good" president in 24 history.

It's a co-op shooter that features wise-cracking spec ops outfitted in armor similar to Jack's from the preview. They go rogue to fight military-industrial conspirators backed by corrupt PMCs. You know, shit Jack does every other day.

Glad to see the writers are finally having Jack go off the deep end in a completely over-the-top way. It makes for more entertaining TV than the boring shit we got earlier in the season.
