Right now... Cripes! What is it about becoming the head of CTU that makes someone's head wander up their ass? All of the sudden after years of working together Chloe thinks I might be wrong?! Doesn't she know me? I'm Jack Bauer! I'm never wrong! I'm like the anti-Jim Cramer. Fuck-me! And what's with the President? Oh? Oh? Are you going to nervously wring your hands as someone with more balls, er metaphorically, than you drives this country in a shit-hole of fuck?! Is everyone in this country except for me out of their damn mind?! One man can only pull this country's head out of its ass and save it so many times. Thank-goodness for them I'm not a man.

Anti-Jim Kramer...lol. So true. That's why I don't buy Chloe opposing Jack. I truly believe she would if she truly believed he was wrong but we've seen no sign of that this season.
 
I'm like 10 episodes back because the sheer stupidity of this season just burned me out, but since it's the final season I'm trying to catch up. But just a hypothetical guess -- since this is the last season, any chance that Tony Almeida or Aaron Pierce makes a surprise appearance at the end of an episode and guns down Logan?

Really though, Jack is bucking the President. A president who knows all the facts and has made a decision. Jack may not like it. Chloe may not like it either, but she knows it's the president's call.

You could argue that Jack is fighting against government corruption, but is he really stopping to weigh the pros and cons here? No, this isn't about thoughtful reflection about balancing what harm will come about if he does the right thing against what good will come if he doesn't. This is about revenge for Renee. And Chloe knows that.
 
I already gave my way I want Aaron Pierce to return.

After making a near escape, Logan rushes into his limo and tells the driver to take him to the airport so he can escape. He realizes the driver isn't taking him in the right direction and demands to know why. The driver rolls down the limo window to reveal Aaron F'N Pierce. Cut to a shitting-himself Logan and a silent clock.
