The 99th Grey Cup game in Vancouver starts in just a few hours between the BC Lions and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Anyone else planning on watching? I doubt there'll be many people from Ontario given that Toronto sucked this year. Hamilton had a shot, but Winnipeg put them down in the East Final. Thank you Mother Nature for that lovely -20 degree weather that day.

I've adopted a Blue and Gold version of my standard avatar for today. Here's hoping the Bombers bring it home!

I'll be happy either way, as I have no real strong feelings on either team. I don't think I'll be watching, though... I have too much work to get done.

Also, the refs are apparently blind to facemask penalties. Naturally.

Well, that's it. 34 to 23 for BC.

I know in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter all that much, and I hate being "that guy", but it does seem hard to win games when the refs aren't calling penalties committed by the other guys.

Doesn't excuse the way the Bombers played though.

Yeah, we did that more than once this season.

I do have to hand it to the Lions though. Every time they got the ball to Arland Bruce, we were caught completely off guard.
