In 2008 my improv team was entertaining at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, which featured George Takei as a Guest of Honour. This guy has been a lifelong inspiration to me as an Asian actor, so it was awesome to finally meet him. This is George's interview on "Ed & Red's Night Party", which was a geek-themed talk show featuring an oft-costumed redhead and a foul-mouthed talking sock.
As sock and redhead (seen here as Power Girl) interviewed George, the opportunity came for someone to be George's "son" on the show (they were talking about Hiro from "Heroes" at the time) so I naturally jumped in at around 5:30. The part pictured above, SFW though somewhat suggestive, is at 10:20.
It took me three years to get the original footage, and another to finally get it on YouTube, but here it is. Enjoy!
