200+ Trek Autograph (Not For Sale)

Dsigned

Cadet
Newbie
If anyone is interested, I have just scanned the signed photos I collected from around 1993-1997 which includes over 200 Star Trek ones. I thought it was a shame to have them sitting in binders, so I created a website for them.

This is the link to the original series ones (other sections can be accessed from here too): http://dsigned.co.uk/trekORIG/index.html

There are non-Trek ones on there too, including a nice reply from Gillian Anderson (I sent her her first overseas fan letter), Highlander TV series and various other actors and actresses.

I have also just created a Twitter account if you want to contact me there @IanDsigned - I have some more to add which I will mention on there when I do, but I think all the Trek ones are on there now.

I should do that for my collection, but when you've got 5-600 items signed... yeah... it's just one of those monumental tasks you talk about, but never actually do. :)

Envious of the Paul Winfield as Terrell. I have 5 signatures of him, but they're just on 3x5 cards. Good to mount with a photo, but, not the same as an actual 8x10...

It's just text, but I've got a list of my collection: http://trekcore.com/staff/frontier/autos.html

And a handful of recent photos, drop in the bucket: http://trekcore.com/staff/frontier/autos/

I really should go through and at least scan the "buddy shots" -- the photos featuring more than 1 actor, signed by such. They're my pride and joy. Them and my cast photos. Had to shell out for a TOS one, but have two TNG, a DS9 needing only Colm Meaney, two Voyager -- one finished w/7 of 9, other needs Jennifer Lien to finish. My Enterprise one is pitiful, only 2, lol.

You've got some very nice ones there (I am jealous). I've never been to a convention so getting the cast shots are a no-go (didn't want to risk sending them to each of the cast). I bought the First Contact one, but they are pretty pricy now and didn't want to get the 'bug' again.

I never got into Enterprise and had stopped collecting before then. I don't have any from the new film either.

I got scanning them down to a fine art. I was doing 1 a minute!

This one (an A3 gatefold synopsis):

http://dsigned.co.uk/trekTNG/files/page1-1017-full.html

Took me 5 years (1993-1997). About two-thirds were snail-mail. Some were quick, some took months to come back (Wil Wheaton took over two years). Some never came back, although most of the Trek people were very good.

Mine were all in binders, so I had to remove each one, scan them and put them back. Got it down to a fine art in the end.
