2/22/2009 Amazing Race Discussion

Linda spent more then 4 hours on that damn mountain. And they nearly caught up to the blondes. Thats how bad the blondes did. But yes, Linda would have received a good sized penalty for using a car. 30 minutes plus time gained, and since she was hopelessly lost, that could have added up.

Absolutely terrible performance.

I loved that MArgie started last going down of the first group, yet she (the oldest racer) was the first (of that group down). That and Margie and Luke through over a hundred pies at each other.
 
I'm just being hypersensitive. :lol:

First it was the overbearing father and weepy daughter, now it's the overbearing brother and weepy sister. If you watch any "Chinatown" episode of any TV show, those are the two character types you'll always see.

I mean, art imitates life and all that... but it's still kind of annoying to see a stereotype personified.
Ah I see. Still, I see it less as stereotypical of Asians, and more as stereotypical of older brother/younger sister dynamics. Of any culture. Especially since they appear highly Americanized.
