I think some Trekkers are foolhardy. Not me though, you wouldn't find me climbing any mountains unless I do it without ropes and without providing my own oxygen.

I believe that about 10% of all people who have tried to climb Mt Everest have died. I can't think of many other activities that have that high death toll.

Weren't there plans to try and recover several of the bodies on Mt Everest this year?

EDIT TO ADD - I got the the figures wrong. The real figures is that one person dies for every ten who successfully reach the summit.
