1 or 2?

I watched ENT for the first time a couple years ago on DVD and I plan on doing a rewatch soon. Since it has been a couple years and i've only seen the show once my memory is not that great but I do remember thinking that season 2 was better then season 1. However on this board i've noticed that many people seem to think the opposite, so which season do you think is better and why?

Me personally, I'd say it's about even. I have seen both numerous times and I watch a few episodes a week as well. I went back and checked as far as episodes, and I'd say that my favorites and ones that I enjoy are about even. It's just a matter of opinion. By season 2, all the introductions of who's who is done and you get into some different stories, more continuing characters of previous episodes and the like. I liked them both and really couldn't decide which one I like better.

I'm torn. Season 2 has more episodes I like in it than season 1, but there are also more episodes I downright hate in season 2 than season 1.

I'd have to go with season 1 being better on average.

Season 1 has great stories that have a lot in common with the 'first contact' eps of TOS. Season 2 starts well, but dips a bit in middle. The episode with the arrogant princess (which had already been done, and better, in TOS and TNG) must rank as one of worst ever of ENT. Fave episodes are The Andorian Incident and Shadows of P'Jem, Carbon Creek, The Catwalk and Stigma.

Same here, I love Singularity. And although I don't quite get the logic of The Communicator, it's one of my favourites as well.
