It sounds great... but at this approximate size, it still wouldn't be the model I've wanted all these years. That'll still require me to build it from scratch.

Now had they decided on building it at approximately 1/333 scale (or 1/4 to the original model), that would have been extremely helpful.

I've been waiting for this a long, long time. Based on some of the comments at the linked web page, seems like most folks are on the same page as to what I'd like to see. Too bad this "Grey Lady" won't be available for a few years. I'm kind of inpatient now in my old age....

I'd love to see parts included for all three versions. That would rock where I could buy two to build the Pike era version and the series version.

Safe to say, though, that this won't be nearly as cheap to buy as the OL 1/1000 kit.
