DS9 | The Visitor
VOY | Living Witness
ENT | Cogenitor

I'd go for:

TOS: Where No Man Has Gone Before
TAS: Time Trap
TNG: Yesterday's Enterprise
DS9: Trials and Tribilations
VOY: Blink Of An Eye
ENT: Similitude

2. The Defector
3. The Visitor (or Duet..I can't fraking decide!!)
4. Blink of an Eye
5. and I only saw some of Enterprise..but I did like both choices so far...
but I will go with Simlitude (if its the one where they cloned Tucker)

TAS...Yesteryear by far...good choice 1701...

TOS - A Taste of Armageddon
TAS - The Counter-Clock Incident
TNG - Q Who
DS9 - Day of the Warrior
VOY - Er, that one with Janeway telling a clown "I knooooooow" in the dark
ENT - .....none. I just can't! If I picked one, than I would be acknowledging the show's existence!

I'll give you a few more days to come up with one...but don't be late. You wouldn't want to ruin your reputation of being..punctual!!

I like how your thread titles are enticing and mysterious and then the question is always so mundane I don't even write an answer. Well, except for this....at least it's not an answer!

TOS: Balance of Terror
TNG: Q Who?
DS9: In the Pale Moonlight
VOY: Real Life
ENT: Similitude
eta: forgot TAS: Yesteryear works for me.

Ummmm..its a start. I'll try to think of a 'out from left field' subject next time...if you see the word PLAYDOUGH thats your signal its meant for you..and I'm serious..I don't want to go down as being too mundane. I mean where's the fun in that??

Rob

TOS: The Corbomite Maneuver
TNG: The Measure of a Man
DS9: Duet
VOY: Living Witness
ENT: E Squared

The one with the Doctor 700 years in the future:

Not actually a very typical episode, but one of my favourite Voyagers nonetheless. :)
Living Witness is not only one of Voyager's best offerings, it's also one of the best episodes I ever saw on television. I wish Voyager had more episodes like that.

I have never seen this episode. I will seek it out. I liked the write up. I was very busy in 'real life' during Voyager's run. I have the series on DVD so I will look for it when I get home and view it...

If you don't have anything constructive to post, you don't have to post.

TOS "The Way to Eden"
TNG "Code of Honor"
DS9 "Profit and Lace"
VOY "Threshold"
ENT "These Are the Voyages"

Okay... one good episode from each series...

1) Where No Man Has Gone Before
2) Yesteryear
3) Yesterday's Enterprise
4) Far Beyond the Stars
5) Err... bonus features?

ENT - .....none. I just can't! If I picked one, than I would be acknowledging the show's existence!

I'm not going to defend this show because I'm not a fan of it or anything, but I would like to recommend that you check out the episodes "In a Mirror, Darkly" parts 1 and 2, since your avatar implies that you're a fan of "The Tholian Web". This episode is, among other things, a vague sequel to that episode. It is also an excellent almost feature-length Star Trek saga that I believe is so great it almost singlehandedly justifies Enterprise's existence and makes it a show I like more than Voyager. I've only seen three episodes of Enterprise (and I hated the other one) and I've seen about half a dozen from Voyager, but this one automatically puts Enterprise in my good graces, despite whatever other offenses it has committed against the Star Trek franchise.

There's something I've been meaning to say for awhile but was always too lazy to say, and now this post has inspired me to say it. Robert, I really enjoy your threads. I think you come up with a lot of refreshingly original topics for discussion that lead to a lot of entertaining and thought-provoking conversations about Star Trek.

I think the answers in this thread would be more intriguing if people came up with selections that weren't already released (or scheduled to be released) on "fan collective" or "best of" sets. I mean, I love "Yesterday's Enterprise" and "Trials and Tribble-Ations" as much as the next guy, but thinking back to the thread's original question of ideas for a forthcoming DVD release, how about some episodes that haven't already been released on Star Trek DVD collections several times?

It pisses me off when I keep rebuying the same episode on different sets ("All Good Things...", for example, is on both the "Q Fan Collective" and the "Time Travel Fan Collective"). Given this new criteria, here are my choices (the common ground among them is that they all have nice character moments, as well as good action sequences, and are some favourites of mine that haven't appeared on Fan Collectives or "Best of" releases):

Star Trek - "Journey to Babel"
Star Trek: The Next Generation - "The Hunted"
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - "To the Death"

I haven't seen enough episodes from the other three series to make picks for them.
