‘Bad Boys’ Spinoff TV Series in the works

The spinoff TV series is centered on the character played in the second film by Gabrielle Union who will star in the series.

It hails from the Bad Boys movies’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Doug Belgrad via his 2.0 Entertainment and Primary Wave Entertainment. Sony Pictures TV Studios, whose movie sibling is behind the feature franchise, is the studio.

The untitled Bad Boys spinoff is being written by The Blacklist writers-producers Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier.

Usually they just do a remake of the film instead of a spin off. It doesn't look like we are getting a Bad boys 3 anytime soon.

I’d imagine that’s most people’s response. What a strange choice for spin off.

I heard it was her idea. I'm guessing they'll pair her up with another female cop and they'll call the show Bad Girls.
