    Zero's Containment Suits

Hi all, does anyone have or know of any good, high-resolution images or publicity renders of Zero's second and third containment suits? I can find plenty of images of their first suit (the junky one from season one), which was also apparently released as a toy. But I can't find any good images...

    Can Voyager-A land?

It must be powered flight of some kind.

    Can Voyager-A land?

We even see this is TOS, in "Tomorrow is Yesterday".

    Can Voyager-A land?

I'm reminded of Rick Sternbach once saying in response to someone questioning how a starship could land that they routinely handle hundreds if not thousands of g, so dealing with only one shouldn't be much of an issue. Interestingly Sternbach also believes that Voyager was really resting on...

Spoilers The Roddenberry Archive brings every iteration of Star Trek’s USS Enterprise bridge to life

A number of those recessed windows on the underside of the saucer align with where Cetacean Ops is shown to be on the official blueprints.

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Far be it from me to defend Berman, but the issue there was Maurice Hurley specifically. Berman was responsible for bringing her back.

What ships SHOULD they have used in the Dominion War?

Interesting. I wondered where that saucer design came from since it didn't seem to match the Galaxy particularly, except in general silhouette. Ex Astris Scientia just lists it as a "custom-made part" in their Wolf 359 ships reconstruction article without giving any more details.

Spoilers The Roddenberry Archive brings every iteration of Star Trek’s USS Enterprise bridge to life

I suppose these concepts anticipate TNG with its endlessly reconfigurable LCARS touch panels – the entire bridge is just one large wraparound display that divides itself up into control panels and viewscreens on the fly, though of course the final bridge set didn't really convey this very well.

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Yes, I've seen "The Cage", I just don't think that line tallies with virtually everything else we've seen about the way warp travel works even in TOS, and should probably be ignored. 6400c would be absurdly fast in Star Trek terms – around warp 9.985 on the TNG scale and over ten times the...

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

That's literally the NX-01's "warp five engine" schtick though. Though I do agree that the gap between ENT and TOS is fertile ground for a series, even ignoring the Romulan War. Just don't link it too closely to any existing show. Not everyone has to be each other's father's brother's nephew's...

What ships SHOULD they have used in the Dominion War?

It has the wide elliptical saucer of a Galaxy-era design, but almost everything else about its saucer and neck aesthetics is more Ambassador-y. We might therefore assume it's an early post-Ambassador design that was originally designed for testing next generation (if you'll excuse the pun)...

What ships SHOULD they have used in the Dominion War?

The Freedom is 430m long according to Eaglemoss and EAS, with around half that length being nacelle – assuming it's using the same nacelle as the Nebula and the Galaxy. This might mean that the Freedom has an overpowered warp drive for a ship its size – it's a sprinter and a striker, but lacking...

What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Agreed. A lot of the issues I had with DSC's first season would have evaporated overnight if it had been set in the 25th century, if Burnham had no connection to Spock, and if the "Klingons" had turned out to be Tzenkethi, or something entirely new from the far side of Romulan space, or whatever.
