So, is Star Trek 3 a "double movie", with Star Trek 2 preceding it?

I don't need any of it, but SNW is my favorite Trek show since DS9, so of course I'd like more of it. At the present season size, 5 seasons is the equivalent of 2 "old" seasons. If the show maintains its quality, how can that be enough?

I'm not talking about 'the industry'; I'm saying, for this show. This show needs more.

Anything short of eight is a crime.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Paramount aren't going to continue with something like Strange New Worlds, they may as well just pack it in altogether. Star Trek is one of Paramount's tentpoles and Strange New Worlds is their best-performing Star Trek. If they're not doing that...

It is a rare episode of Lower Decks that I truly enjoy and, to date, no episodes of Strange New Worlds that I don’t truly enjoy, so my anticipation for this episode was built only on a fervent hope that the latter show would rub off on the former more than the other way around and a (morbid?)...

It is. The only ratings period that includes it, so far, covers the first episode, which is #7 of all streaming shows, not just Paramount+.

I think I'm with you here. I don't have any issue with the idea of Spock being attracted by the smell- that's beside the point. Spock is a vegetarian for moral and logical reasons. Suddenly becoming human might make maintaining that a little more difficult to do, but he's not going to just...

The Ready Room is no less able to be aired than Strange New Worlds, itself.

It’s their number one or number two (after Yellowstone) show. There’s no way they’re ending it after three seasons. If Paramount+ shuts down, it’s because someone is buying them/their properties, which would be to get their hands on the popular stuff like Yellowstone and SNW.
