Thanks, it was fun looking at my favourite ship design, and also very pleased to meet you as someone else who has tackled this design in a meaningful technical way also regarding its size, which never bother me until I saw it in 3d. salute

I did make my decks 10ft and 1ft deck thickness apart from the Bridge I think where I eye-balled the scale there, it was not measured, it's been a long time since I made the basic model in 2016 I think it was when I first started it finishing in 2018. I just wish I had your work to hand back...

New project - TOS Enterprise 1341-foot version full interior 3D model

amazing work from both, the 947ft is unworkable at least for me when I started building mine, in 2016/17. I ended up with 1311.5ft long but in the last few years, I thought a little larger would help.1341ft is better again. watching with interest

I found the Bussard effects the most difficult to get right, still, I try to tweak them for rendering from time to time, animation is a different challenge beyond me. scifieric has done some great work for his renderings in Blender3d. I have never seen Donny's work before, amazing work beyond...

Some more Star Trek Rendered Art.

Here is a selection of Star Trek art I have made over the last few years. I use other peoples images as the background setting the scene credits included They will mostly feature my reimagined designs but plenty of the classic Enterprise too...

Each segment of the hangar doors is layer one above another. The other idea was they when closed are look seamless together, but when opening move/slide back and then are layered

USS Enterprise in Drydock before Departure

Yes indeed :) the Space Tug by Matt Jefferies, I called it the Hutzel class at the time. he had recently passed away. though I later went on to name a Starship after him too.
