One thing I must say: although the Phase II bridge was rendered beautifully, I am exceedingly happy it never saw the light of day. That captain's chair. Oof.
Although I agree, I must say that Goldsmith's score to The Motion Picture has largely stood the test of time. In fact, TMP has moved up my list of Trek movies to #1 largely on the strength of the score, unlike, say, TVH.
