Is SNW too much of an ensemble show?

I'm glad for the ensemble nature. It allows the series to remain fresh, while also having less need for an actor to be on set for 16+ hours a day because they're in every dang shot.

Spoilers Red Alert. Images from the Finale are leaking online. Get off twitter, reddit, and youtube ASAP.

The issue is that you're blanket-labeling something as part of an addiction, rather than actually knowing whether or not that's the case here.

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x09 - "Võx"

Calling it now: the finale will begin with a recreation or a straight-up reuse of the full TNG Opening animation.

Spoilers Red Alert. Images from the Finale are leaking online. Get off twitter, reddit, and youtube ASAP.

That's a weirdly dismissive and judgemental statement to make. A lot of people rely on the internet to actually socialize as themselves. Not everyone has the privilege or ability to leave their housing. Framing the internet as an 'addiction' in such a general and broad sense—or even at all—is...

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x09 - "Võx"

Good Golly Miss Molly, that Enterprise-D set is gorgeous. I watched Generations four hours ago and it felt like the lighting was similar! Fuck me, I hope Geordie is also restoring the Enterprise-E, that was also a thing of beauty! Let Worf have the Enterprise-E again, goddamn it! When the...

Spoilers Star Trek: Picard 3x08 - "Surrender"

The Ready Room was a "I AM the FBI" moment, holy shit.

It has escaped me until just now that Sybok is now in a gay marriage. Nice!

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

Learning new things is normal. We always learn new things, so I don't see why they/them for individuals should be any different. I've always used they/them if I didn't know anything about someone, to use it for an individual whom I am acquainted with is no issue at all.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

If you don't want to be a bigot you'll listen to the individual that you're talking to and use the pronouns that they state are their pronouns. Quoting Dave Chapelle is also just lame. I'm actually right, but thank you for your submission to the discussion.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

"Somebody named Jamie left their umbrella here, could you hand it to them? I think they might be getting in their car!" Easiest thing in the world, sweetie. You're not too old to learn new things! In fact, no adult is ever too old to learn new things!

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

Not sure how this changes anything I have said. The character currently uses they/them and that should be respected. If you can't respect a fictional trans person that doesn't bode well for us real trans people.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

Not respecting a trans person's pronouns is transphobia. Angel uses they/them pronouns until otherwise specified.

No, you just don't care. You're not invested in the queer community and do not care about our victories.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

I've decided that Spock got married to Chapel in 2070 and they simply never mentioned it in the movies. Strange New Worlds could easily do a timeskip that fills in blanks. Also, cishet people are really showing their asses here by thinking Angel and their big, queer energy was uncalled for...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

Trans people are currently under intense threat of genocide by legislation and media propaganda. We're not going to let bullfuckery attitudes like yours into our fandom spaces where we should be allowed to feel safe.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

Not to mention a queer actor gets to use the aesthetic of queer-coding while also just simply being queer and deliciously antagonistic openly. It's a real win. It makes perfect sense. Keitel is a non-binary person that uses she/her pronouns. Pronouns do not gender make. There is no one right...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

Except you're now deciding and adding conditional support based on what you—a cis person—deem acceptable. That's a major problem with your character and I ask kindly that you rectify it.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

    1. Language evolves. 2. Singular they/them has been in use forever. 3. Enbies are more important than the English language. Queer people (trans people in particular) are still under threat of genocide. In my country legislation is being enacted to prevent trans people from transitioning...

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 1x07 - "The Serene Squall"

We don't need your brand of 'accuracy '. We need tons of representation and to be loud and visible sonthat we are real human beings to cishet people. This is an unreliable narrative because the majority of queer people remain in the closet to avoid being discriminated against. Her...
