I would have liked that, but I think that ship has sailed. TPTB seems to have decided that Trek shows have to revolve around Starfleet in some form or other.
Wait, if this is 2401, are we attributing the age of Raffi's granddaughter to, uh, Romulan growth rates? Shouldn't that be slower rather than quicker, as they have longer lifespans? From pregnancy to what, 4 or 5 years old in two years. Assuming it is the granddaughter ofc.
I'm trying to figure out what the villain ship reminds me of. I don't watch a ton of SciFi, but maybe something from Babylon 5, either the Minbari or vorlon ships? My memory is blurry...
I'm 50/ 50 on it.
It could obviously just be a cover storys to support her fall from grace narrative. Otoh...
I'm wondering if the break-up was just another cover story or if it's real. (I'm leaning towards the latter.)
Also, I assume she has no direct contact with her granddaughter or her son. (Maybe with her DIL though.) She seemed to almost reach out to the video/ still as if she wasn't allowed to.

I always hated it when people tried to make her use that name, or called her Annika. Mostly Janeway iirc. I guess it's because no matter how much she would develop or, as Janeway called it, recover her humanity, she would still never be the same person that she would have become without...
Same here. I also miss the cinematographic feel that season 1 had. With all its issues, I still wish they'd built more on what was good and promising in season 1, including the issues of the xBs and the Romulans within the Federation. When Raffi questioned the computer about the Red Lady and it...
Jeri is great with barely suppresssed anger... or outright contempt. "If I were you I'd lower my expectations."
As for the question of who's the father... any chance it could be the ghost from Sub Rosa?
I was thinking the same thing. (Unless Seven leaving her is just part of the cover story, they'd have left the interesting parts in between seasons and all or most of what we got was the bickering in between!) Same as other major developments between s1 and 2, like everyone returning to SF.
And...
