Easily, Season 1 went rapidly downhill, it just had some familiar actors in it playing different characters. Season 2 started well & then just dropped off a cliff.

Season 1 was dreadful, Season 2 wasn't really any better. They were just generic, second rate Sci-Fi.

There will probably be an episode where a turbo lift malfunctions containing Burnam & falls from it's "track" & they then have to send the entire fleet in to search for them before the lift hits the bottom.

I agree, there seems to have been a move to smaller ships anyway, in First Contact there were lots of smaller vessels buzzing about. And I suppose it makes some sense in that you can have 8 smaller ships for the price of one larger one. Although it would be pretty epic to see the final battle...
