The cheesiest 'Voyager' (and likely Trek) episode EVER - except perhaps TNG's "Conspiracy" (which is retitled: "Star Trek: Aliens" in my head canon) :D:guffaw::hugegrin:
Just look at all the Federation Admirals and supporting cast Captains we saw in all 'Trek' iterations over the course of the past five decades. IMO we can count Ross, Pike (Kelvin-verse), Cornwell and Vance among the "good ones." Many were assholes like Nechayev, Clancy ("F***ing hubris')...
TBH, this is a typical Trek plothole that I've seen in almost every Trek series, where a menacing but relatively weak villain alien somehow managed to outsmart and defeat a much superior Federaton ship. Whenever I rewatched TNG's "Rascals" I always scoffed seeing why did the Enterprise-D, the...
So we'll close Season 3 with the second of the two-parter episode...and the entire season was about how to build Burnham/Discovery as "the hope" to restore Starfleet/Federation into its former self. Interesting :bolian:
If we see the Sphere Data transforms into Zora in any of the promos, then this plot sounds viable. I doubt we'll see it as it will be giving away too much spoilers I'm afraid
Vance has now outranked William Ross, who despite being a mostly good Admiral did allow Section 31 agent Sloan to execute his secret missions inside DS9, which resulted in the invention of biological virus which almost wiped out the Founders and killed Odo, among other things. Ross also approved...
My theory: When his mother died the baby started to sing this siren song sung by this opera singer. Then the song triggered "The Burn" :guffaw::D:hugegrin:
I have a feeling The Sphere Data/Zora will somehow be featured in the finale and that the Disco crew had to abandon shop because of whichever scheme the Emerald Chain is doing in the next episode.
It's Disco's answer to Mark Jackson - the actor who played the AI Isaac in "The Orville" playing his character without prosthetic in the episode where he dates the ship doctor (that's him from 2:46 to 2:56)
Agreed, I've seen videos of Wilson Cruz's conference appearances (like the one below) where he showcased his talents and fun sides. Then afterwards I thought how he was under-utilized in previous Disco seasons. No more, finally in S3 the show-runners figured out how to make the best use of...
