The only thing I don't like about the design is the spine on the top of the ship that connects the bridge to the rest of the ship. It's roundedness kinda contrasts to the more angled design of the rest of the ship. For me at least. But then again it is only the concept art so I hope it looks...

In fairness I think everyone in the cast fell victim to the decon scenes which I never really thought that much of when I first watched the show. Heck even porthos fell victim to one

I think, based on what the producers said, discovery will be more of a show about attaining peace than it is a war show. In respect to the humor aspect, I hope it is similar to Beyond in how the premise was sad with the ship being destroyed and everything plus much of the show involved battles...

What I would've really liked is that instead of Burnham being sarek's adopted daughter she was T'Pol's adopted daughter. It would make sense since she has such a deep connection to humanity plus you wouldn't have anyone complaining about how it violates cannon. But I understand why they chose...

The special effects that I am most excited to see in discovery are the natural phenomena and landscapes that they decide to create. Whether it be cool looking planets or some type of phenomena in outerspace like the one shown in the teaser. I feel that special effects like these can only help...

That's one of my most favorite Star Trek episodes that I've seen

Fuller stated last year that they would be reimagining the look of some of the aliens so they didn't make any promises about everything looking the same. They actually stated the opposite.

The elongated skull certainly makes them look alien. Which even if it looks kinda weird is still a good thing. The makeup is certainly very detailed and impressive.
