Spoilers Ncuti Gatwa's New Sonic Screwdriver (the biggest spoiler is that I actually love this)

B7's Western influences are more down to script editor Chris Boucher, who's a big fan, and to a lesser extent Paul Darrow who was also a classic Western fan.

The Whoniverse comes to iPlayer Nov 1st

All those except the animated Abominavle Snowmen are there, and the surviving episode of that is too- I suspect there's some variation with the animated stories in terms of when they hit blu-ray or something. Can't be Lincoln as Web is there with Abominable episode 2.

    Tales of the Tardis

Dunno- on iPlayer I see Time Meddler, Mind Robber, Three Doctors, Earthshock, Varos, Fenric. There are only six omnibus stories in the Tales, so those Whotube vids are just clips from longer intro and outro sequences.

    Tales of the Tardis

Yeah, watching The Three Doctors one right now- a few minutes of nostalgia with characters in the present, then a movie compilation of the story. Not bad, nothing Amazing. Most looking forward to the animated episodes I have't seen- Macra Terror, Faceless Ones, this version of Shada.

    That's my favourite.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 2x04 - "Among the Lotus Eaters"

Totally stolen by Ortegas's PTSD flashback-like panic attack, and recovery. Never seen it done truer in a TV hour.

Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

And even more so with Cyber-Danny.

Paul Wesley's incarnation of James T. Kirk

He's likeable enough in this upcoming episode, but just not James T Kirk to me...

Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

    Ship flyby...

LOL - the weird thing is, I'm on the preview screeners list, watched the first two episodes tonight, and never noticed or even thought about it! I'll have to watch out for it when I look again!

Spoilers Picard Season 3 Soundtrack News

The music is awesome, with some great references to certain prior things..There's a definite specific feel to it. And that's all that can be said yet..

Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

That is going to be referenced in the live action Ahsoka series, so it may introduce some time travel properly to the canon.

Ncuti Gatwa is the 15th Doctor

The Gervaise one has only two arms, and not the more rigid back plates- he's more Gastropod than the new thing, and the plates are more Tractator... Of course I'd expect the new thing to be actually a new thing, though I could see RTD pulling a "related/from the same system as...." like how the...

Ncuti Gatwa is the 15th Doctor

Looks like a resigned Tractator or Mestor-type Gastropod.

    Continuing the Cushingverse

I'd actually pitched Dr. Who And The Crypt Of The Cyber-Men to BBC books in about 2002, 2003, so the urge among some authors and readers to have more Cushing stories goes back q long while...

Ncuti Gatwa is the 15th Doctor

It sounds more like how, for example, the Ood-Sphere was mentioned as being a neighbour of the Sense-Sphere and the Sensorites.

Ncuti Gatwa is the 15th Doctor

It's 8 plus a Xmas special per year - so 9 in total for and from 2024- with no gap years planned (apart from the fucking anniversary year, of course, which only has the three Tennants and a Xmas Specia)
