Started as a fan in '92. There are certain things about newer Trek that annoy me. I still enjoy some episodes. I haven't reached the point where I don't give the new shows a chance...yet.

The DS9 doc got theater distribution and the full Blu-ray treatment. I doubt they sold many tickets for the screenings, and the Blu-ray didn't sell enough to cover the costs. This time, they are likely more cautious. Just print a basic Blu-ray and honor your commitments then.

It would be interesting to know how much money they have left from the crowdfunding, if it's not already spent.

If producing physical disks is too much trouble, why not make a video-on-demand available for purchase?

The Michael Dorn episode was interesting because they had him on to discuss one of the worst episodes of the series, "Two Days and Two Nights." I guess they can't be honest about how bad the episode was while the director was on the show. I was more interested in the new movie Michael Dorn is...

Somewhere in the mid-first season of Enterprise, I started to lose interest. The storylines didn't hook me to want to continue watching. I also didn't care for the temporal cold war stuff. Previously, I would tape every Trek episode and look forward to each week.

The budget for this series must have been greenlit long ago. Often, they'll wait for the streaming numbers to see if they will do more seasons.

I'm genuinely surprised they are moving this quickly. That's uncommon these days.

I looked it up on the net, and apparently, they have already planned seasons 4 and 5. We'll see.

So, I guess Pike retained the memory of that alternate future like Picard with the flute?

I think the current season is the worst. I don't see a clear direction in the storylines. The comedy episodes aren't doing it for me. The latest episode with Ortegas is my favorite for this season.

My favorite episode this season. Classic Trek storyline that didn't feel like a boring retread.

It's a decent episode to introduce new viewers to the characters. I think most people watching are already familiar with them.

So, we have a holodeck episode right after the Q episode (Wait, that's wrong, but it's in the same season). I'd prefer SNW to have its own stories and not constantly throwback.

It's nice Strange New Worlds got it's Q episode. Didn't do much for me.

I didn't pay to back WYLB but bought a ticket to see it in the theater and bought a special edition Blu-Ray. I'm still willing to do that for the Voyager one if they'd give me some release dates.

I'd rather not spend $45 to pre-order the Blu-Ray, even if it has an exclusive cover. A release date would be nice.

The shows are always a reflection of the times. I think they've gradually gotten better and more realistic as the years have passed. They also had to balance trying to please the young male demo that used to watch. It was the standard formula to have the sex-symbol female character.
