The Klingon answer is good but the Romulan ambassador is a no way! Even if relations had softened between the two powers I doubt that the Federation would ever trust the Romulans in that capacity! :rommie:
JB
I could never understand why the President of the UFoP allowed the Romulan ambassador into their high military meetings? Since when did the Romulans become the friends to the Federation and even if they did why allow him into their conference? :rommie:
I still prefer TUC to WOK to be honest as...
Agreed. I didn't like the show to be honest outside of a couple of episodes but it's style was nothing like TOS at all and much in the vein of the recent series!
I tend to think it was another alternate reality like Yesterday's Enterprise in TNG or All Good Things or one of the many we saw in...
Yes I do remember Alexander and his different actors playing the role but I assumed that the time gap was a lot larger than it was for us, say two years for us was four to five for them?
JB
I was thinking about the Anton Chekov thing and then realised it can't be Pavel Chekov because he'd be long dead in the late twenty fourth century surely..? :wtf:
JB
Rumours of his relationship with Nimoy are somewhat false as they did become agitated with each other at one point with Shatner jealous of Nimoy's greater fan interest and letters and Nimoy making it clear he would not allow Shatner to steal his lines or overshadow him on set! :vulcan:
JB
I'm not too up on Klingon ageing to be honest, but I thought they probably had a long life span outside of the Vulcans (unless they're killed in battle of course) and might have been comparative with humans too as we seem to be so much alike! :klingon:

As a child I always thought Meg Wylie was pretty scary as the Keeper or Magistrate if you like. Then years later I find out 'he' was a she and that was creepy too! How I didn't catch Meg as the actresses name beats me now although I probably never read the names back then! Great idea I think now...
The Borg Queen is defeated but escapes back into the Delta Quadrant and Jack Crusher is a sad fatality! The Enterprise D and it's crew decide to go exploring the uncharted reaches of Federation space and recover from the events! That's it in a nutshell! :techman:
JB
I sadly have to admit that I've still not seen the entire episode! I saw bits and bobs over the years but never watched that much of seasons six and seven, especially seven!
JB
Gary Mitchell was a Lieutenant Commander and Helmsman, not a First Officer to be honest and I'm not sure he had aspirations in that direction either. It might be true that his death may have led to Spock becoming Kirk's best friend though...;)
JB
That's true yes. The idea of TNG fighting a DS9 baddie was akin to Batman fighting Lex Luthor or Spider-Man taking on DareDevil's The Owl! I know that off screen the Enterprise did confront the Jem 'Hadar fleet which was the basis of a set of four novels which I have somewhere but never read...
