One mystery they didn't clear was was the "mines", i wonder how/where they are with what we know about the layout of the silo, and how they avoid mines of one silo breaking into the mines of another.
Maybe that is a growing issue with the base and the way it is being run, short cuts are taken and people doing stuff they shouldn't be. This could be setting the base up for a potential disaster later on, we know from the trailer there is an explosion at some stage.
I think i only saw it up to the start of the Kromaggs, some of the alt-history ideas were interesting such as the society where smart people competed in competition (instead of sport).
I think the Soviets are portrayed realistically and well, largely they are fine people apart from the commander who is a bit of an ass but lets face it the commander of such a mission would be a true believer party fanatic.
I guess you could say Ed has shown that Margo was right in not wanting him on Mars.
They don't believe the story that Gordo and Tracy saved the base wrapped in duct tape, which ironically is true though maybe they'll discover the actual conspiracy (the 2nd reactor) while trying to discover ThE...
Would be quite ironic/funny (depending on how dark your sense of humour is) if the underground aquifer was where the last remains of life on Mars was and the humans have just wiped them out.
