12 O'Clock High Rips Off Star Trek Theme?

The music directly proceeding it was used in the Fugitive. :)Spockboy

    What color is your Enterprise?

It's amazing how much color and contrast degradation there was from processing the effects. :)Spockboy

    That Destruct Sequence

Even though the dialogue is almost identical, the STAR TREK 3 version is so much more tragic. :)Spockboy

Roddenberry Vault Footage - colour correction

I'm frankly amazed at what I have seen. It appears that they did absolutely nothing to improve the appearance of the films. I haven't purchased the blu-ray yet but I have seen clips and pictures on the net. I made this color correction in about 60 seconds. The fact that it was so easy and so...

Doomsday Machine FX test with 11 footer

I appreciate your comments Albertese. As far as the ship goes I was completely confined to what footage was available (including the awkward sliding motion) If I could just spend one day with a motion control set up and "proper" lighting I could really make something outstanding. Ironically...

Poll Do you prefer the digitally remastered Enterprise?

Absolutely true, Whether or not it was planned, does not alter the fact that shiny ships look bad in front of blue screen as I initially stated.

Doomsday Machine FX test with 11 footer

The big E sure looks different without all of the degradation and de-saturation from the old optical printers. Much more colorful. Thoughts? :)Spockboy

11 footer Enterprise video 1967 compared to 2017

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to take some shots of the old girl (properly with modern equipment) for an effects redo? Or perhaps build a new 11 footer? :)Spockboy

    Another Effects Test-Tomorrow is Yesterday

Actually that is incorrect. ;) It is all over green with one small red, and one small yellow piece of plastic inside. Here it is illuminated with a white flashlight. :)Spockboy

Poll Do you prefer the digitally remastered Enterprise?

LOL I just didn't like being called silly or pedantic Maurice. Luckily I just had a pedicure from a green Orion slave girl, so the foot tastes surprisingly okay. ;) :)Spockboy

Poll Do you prefer the digitally remastered Enterprise?

Agreed, I am aware of this effect, however if you have a reflective surface and it is reflecting, in this case a blue background that will be keyed out , it will key out the reflecting part as well. Clearly BOTH effects are a concern when shooting a physical model and keying it out which I...
