Hi all, I have two kids, 8 and 12, and they've both seen every episode of Lower Decks bar about one per season, usually because I was advised right here in the TrekBBS that there might be some in appropriate content- either too sexually explicit [2.7-8, 3.1] or too violent [1.6] or too scary...

Could any BBSers who have seen the ep give me a spoiler-free heads up if it contains any gratuitous sex*, horror or violence? Thank you! *I know only one ep of DISCO has ever had gratuitous sex in it, but I still thought I'd ask.

In 'Blakes Seven', whenever someone teleported there was a very specific musical sting which my brother and I associated so strongly with 'beaming' that whenever we beamed in play we'd sing the little "Bum bum badda da dum!" sting, as though it was in-world.

My wife and I went ahead and watched the ep without our daughter, based on the comments here. After we finished, we had a chat and decided we will rewatch it with her, as there is nothing really objectionable- no nudity, no orgy, no OTT violence- I think she'll enjoy the episode. I understand...
