I seem to recall that you could pick up Trek film cells back in the 70s and 80s at cons. I have one from Pattern of Force in one of those old fashioned viewers. I read somewhere that there were loads of them knocking about from when the episodes were edited by regional/local tv stations...

Are you writing this story sequentially? Maybe write the end, or a conversation in the middle. Don't write it in order. They say the only way to get over a writer's block is to write. Good luck! :)
