Monty Python & The Holy Grail at 50

To be fair - MOST of the people that drive me "mad" (Mad? Mad am I? I'm not mad! Just a little upset but, not mad.) are the people who SHOULD KNOW better and just assume they are correct. Folks who have ... issues from the get go, usually not so much of a problem.

Monty Python & The Holy Grail at 50

There have been sooooo many times that I've literally felt like I was the King of the Swamp Castle... Dealing with idiots can be so very frustrating.

Monty Python & The Holy Grail at 50

There was a hobby gaming shop not too (ridiculously) far from here that almost always had Monty Python and the Holy Grail running on a TV... Never get tired of that loony film.

    Doggies, Doggos and Doggeroos!

It's an old trick -- but it checks out... Yep, usually done with Horses in the past.

RIP Gene Hackman, Dead at 95

Carbon Monoxide (aka CO) is suspected, not CO2. But anyway, major loss of a truly great actor (and yes, tragic that his wife and dog died as well).

The Animals That Aren't Dogs or Cats Thread

    ^ Ooohhhh....that poor defenseless tree....

    USS Farragut NCC-1647 TOS style:

I very much doubt that the curvy struts would be there though...

Angels and Demons: What kind of bomb was it?

Akshually...1 Kilogram of Antimatter and 1 Kilogram of normal matter would produce and explosion of roughly 42 Megatons... So, 1000th of that is actually about 42 Kilotons or nearly 3 times that of Little Boy (15 Kilotons)!
  12. StarCruiser

The Nature of the Universe, Time Travel and More...

Sorry about that but, yep - one of the good scenes from a...reasonably funny movie (not Mel's best but, I digress).

The Animals That Aren't Dogs or Cats Thread

And I believe the Black Rhinos are more endangered as well....

    PICTURE POST II!

^ Now, you can see why people thought of gods when those things went active!

Technology of the Star Fleet Universe

Actually - I'm sure the Doomsday Machine probably turned into a rather modest sized, but REALLY dense, ball of Neutronium after it sat around for a while without any power to keep it in any other form. Most likely - it's odd "Cornucopia of Death" shape was due to a lack of fuel while in transit...
  16. StarCruiser

Technology of the Star Fleet Universe

Fundamental problem - Neutronium is just a lot of very tightly packed neutrons. That's it, there's nothing else to work with. Otherwise, it's not Neutronium.

    Author Habits That Annoy You

'Tis a bloody good you do at that!
  18. StarCruiser

Who, exactly, do the Klingon, Romulan and Andorian empires rule??

Also, keep in mind that an "Empire" doesn't actually have to conquer anyone to be one. It's essentially an Imperial Governmental system. The Second German Empire (1870's until the end of World War I) initially had no conquered peoples. It was a union of multiple German Kingdoms/Princedoms...
