Good on the writers for having some fun at the end of the series. It was silly but entertaining. Whilst a lot of episodes had been silly and boring. It mad the tos ship look more advanced than the 2005 show which wasn't easy when replicating 60s sets
I thought that Billie Piper did a good job with the role. However I thought that it would have been a good opportunity to bring back Susan. It would have been a link to the very beginning. She would have also represented what the doctor was about to lose and what he could regain.
What do you...
The curator makes more sense on a 2nd viewing. Another version of this Doctor or the next it seems. Great to see Tom Baker he had said that he'd regretted not appearing in the 25th anniversary. But he got the chance here and what an impact it had.
Brilliant, what a tribute to what cam before. A fantastic script all character driven. They linked all the Doctors in a great way considering the age or death of previous Doctors. I had wondered if Tom Baker would be in it as the oldest surviving Doctor. But wondered how considering his age...
I know that a lot of people have already said it but I'll say it again. Wow! I think this is the best mini episode. I like that we only see by a reflection that the war Doctor is young and they didn't go for some naff cgi to change Hurt's appearance.
It's a shame the 8t Doctor will never have a...
It would be good to see Kang again if they do a Klingon conflict. But the new film could start with Bones visiting his Gorn God children. They could fit a lot of action into that.

Thanks I'm glad you liked it I enjoy writing them.
The spill crew have done a review that I enjoyed

.
Thought I'd start a thread for Star Trek into Darkness humour links.
I decided to do another parody script for the movie and would be interested to now what people think.

I heard that they wanted the newEnterprise to be an Excelsior class as it was easier for the sfx crew tofilm. I didn't realise that there were plans for the crew to take the excelsior itself.
After sacrifice of angels the wormhole was already blocked for Dominion reinforcements. With the omega molecule I thought it was something that would be dangerous to move so unless they could be created and detonated right in cardassian space they would be as much of a danger to the federation.
With the distance a space battle would likely involve along with ability of missiles to home in on targets it shouldn't matter where it's fired from. Although it would be useful to have more launchers considering and the ships big enough for it.
Saying that the changes are due to Nero is just to please fans that care. Theres not much point considering how Trek technology changes. Star Trek crews used technologies worse than what we have today. If everything in the film looked like the tos series it would look really dated and distract...
