Too bad. You are missing out. The 10 Kirsten Beyer Voyager novels were some of the best of treklit I've read in the last decade and a half. I highly recommend it

So What Are you Reading?: Generations

After finishing KMFB's latest Voyager novel, I'm back on the comics. I caught up on Hickman's Black Monday Murders; I read the first arc of Venditti's Hawkman because of Bryan Hitch's artwork, and enjoyed it immensely; and now I'm going to read Tom King's Superman Up in The Sky

    Those old book covers

Those covers in the 80's were awesome. I don't mind what has come since, but that aesthetic is sorely missed, even though it is very outdated.

Have the PICARD prequel tie-ins been announced as "Canon"?

Good god. Another "Canon" query. See Christopher's various responses to this exact question in numerous other threads

So What Are you Reading?: Generations

I just got a handful of graphic novels including Paper Girls vol.5 & 6, Manifest Destiny vol.6, Lazarus vol.5, and Moonshine vol.2. I'm gonna work my way through them before I re-read the Picard "autobiography" before the 23rd. I know that the bio will be different from the show, but it doesn't...

Most significant additions to lore in LitVerse and the things you wish were canon

I agree completely with Thrawn. I would also like if the greater Vanguard storyline with the Shedai and the Tholians was on screen at some point :)

So What Are you Reading?: Generations

I Just finished a few Batman stories; Batman: Last Knight On Earth #3, Batman Who Laughs HC, Dark Knight: Golden Child; and have started on Batman: Damned. Next week, I'll hopefully be getting back into some treklit!

    Best Trek books

I think Kirsten Beyer's work on the Voyager relaunch series has been awesome. I would also push the Vanguard Saga, and the books by Una McCormack which deal with Cardassian society :techman:

New Frontier book series and New Earth. Anyone else like them?

Yeah...10 years seems like more than long enough to not have to include spoiler captions. Of course, much like @JWolf , i'm not a mod, and that's not my call.

New Frontier book series and New Earth. Anyone else like them?

^Didn't Missing in Action come out a bunch of years ago? I think you may be a bit late on the spoilers request.

Best Book for a Specific Character

The first 2 Voyager relaunch books by Kirsten Beyer, Full Circle and Unworthy, turn Chakotay into the character we always wanted him to be.
