    "Nomad" Prop reused in Sickbay?

I think that what people might be confusing is that a set piece from Sick Bay (well, the Sick Bay Lab set) was indeed used on a super-powerful hovering robot--but the robot was Flint's M-4 robot. You can see the big metal ball part in Sick Bay. To further confuse things, part of Nomad was used...

Hey, I never noticed that before....

Yes, it's one of the old pilot-era gooseneck viewers. No explanation has been offered why it's there. It's too high to really look into it. My hunch is that is was meant to be trained on the transporter chamber so that people, say, on the bridge could watch people beam in and out. We never...

A question about the episode 'A Taste of Armageddon'.

For what it's worth, Kirk tells Mendez "Blast you anyway! You had no right to come along" in "The Menagerie."

"Torment of Destiny" Star Trek New Voyages

And, as I've said before, I believe that James' new license as the Star Trek The Original Series Set Tour prohibits him from making/releasing fan films. So for him, the "just comply with the new Guidelines" workaround isn't really an option.

    A pre-TOS Klingon war. Evidence?

For what it's worth, the First Draft script for "Day of the Dove" by Jerome Bixby (dated August 9, 1968) has this relevant dialogue from Dr. McCoy. After Kang and Mara and the rest of the Klingons are taken from the transporter room, Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Chekov also leave the transporter...

A question about the episode 'A Taste of Armageddon'.

Let us consult the Sacred Texts.... In reviewing the Revised Final Draft shooting script for "A Taste of Armageddon," dated December 12, 1966 written by Robert Hamner and Gene L. Coon, just after Kirk orders General Order 24 and says "I didn't start it, Councilman. But I'm liable to finish it,"...

    JAMES CAWLEY SPEAKS!

@Barbreader: Yet another reminder: To clarify some details on our 2015 Star Trek New Voyages Kickstarter, we specified to what the donated money was to be applied: "FIRST GOAL: $20,000 "$20,000 covers the basic costs (very basic) of our July 2015 Shoot, such as electricity, equipment rental...

STC Ep. 8: "Still Treads The Shadow" rating and discussion....

DavidAntman: Please stop (what looks like) intentionally bating other board members--specifically, board members who are not necessarily as unabashedly enthusiastic about each and every Star Trek Continues episode as you are. The threads you post in often devolve into meta-discussions about the...

Why didn't anyone smoke on "TOS?"

Well, not exactly. Full listing of all the "No Smoking" signage is here: https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/star-trek-phase-ii-origins.117439/page-2#post-3946571

    JAMES CAWLEY SPEAKS!

I'm not privy to the details of James' licensing agreement with CBS for the "Star Trek The Original Series Set Tour." But it's conceivable that as a condition of his licensure, James is prohibited from releasing any further Trek fan film productions. So restrictions on any further productions...

Hey, I never noticed that before....

That's not actually correct. There is a silver divider between the sections, but there's not such a divider between the bottom of wall flat and the floor; just a small gap of about 3/4 of an inch. In this case it's the middle section containing the view screen that wasn't elevated off the floor...

Help - which episode was this scene in?

"Bread and Circuses." Merikus is trying to get Kirk to order the Enterprise crew members down to the planet to be gladiators. Kirk doesn't play along, and says into his communicator: "Condition Green; all's well. Kirk out." Merik says: "Ah, that was stupid, Jim. This is not an Academy...

Serious replies only: Uhura screamed at Hanoch because...

The "Return to Tomorrow" script isn't too much help. There's this content from the November 22, 1967, "2nd Revised Final Draft:" SCENE 105 CONTINUED: KIRK Prepare a hypo, Bones. The fastest and deadliest poison to Vulcans. Spock's consciousness is gone, but we must kill his body too... the...

Hey, I never noticed that before....

Lots of conjecture regarding all the various little markings all over the ship. No manual was ever developed by Matt Jefferies regarding what they all meant. Some speculation here: https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/exterior-surface-markings-of-kirks-enterprise.190540/

Thank you. I thought all the DVDs offered as perks went out. I'll double back with James and find out what's up and try to shake loose whatever needs shaking.

    JAMES CAWLEY SPEAKS!

Yes. As stated earlier in this thread, work continues (at a snail's pace) on "Torment of Destiny" to get it finished and released. What else? (Kelso mentioned "unfulfilled promises." Since the plural indicates "more than one," I'm wondering what all the unfulfilled promises are--apart from...

By your reckoning, what promises remain unfulfilled?
