The Roddenberry Vault blu-ray has a special pop up feature for several episodes (Space Seed, City, Tribbles). When I access this feature the video inserts are there, but the talking heads are muted. Nothing I adjust in the audio options bring their voices on.
Is this a defect of the disc, or...
I have been taking my partner Ron (not a sci-fi fan) through all of Trek chronologically for the past two years. He really likes TOS, and have shown him the best of the newer shows. I thought he would really like DS9's 'The Visitor', but he hated it.
It was too 'out there', and he couldn't...

TOS got their opening credits right. Shatner/Nimoy/Kelley were the stars of the show. Everyone else out back with ya.
TNG should have kicked Frakes in with the alphabetical crew line up. Old baldy was the only star of the show.
DS9 should have had no one "star" and listed all the...
Guisseppe, an older Italian-American gentleman at our UU church's coffee hour this morning commented on the Star Fleet pin on my jacket. I proceeded to give him a crash course on the history and meaning of Star Trek. I told him how Treks humanistic liberal philosophy mirrored our Unitarian...
