Does Spock (Ethan Peck) ever say fascinating on Strange New Worlds or Discovery just like he (Leonard Nimoy) said the phrase on the original series?

Definitely! But maybe not by the one character known for his logic and intelligence. And certainly not at the rate he’s breaking it. ;)

Spoilers VOY DOC: To The Journey | Rating and Review

I was at STLV this year. Brannon Braga and Ronald D. Moore were on the same panels and seemed like they were good friends. Despite it not working out on Voyager, they appear to still respect each other a great deal.

I think in Enterprise Surak's katra jumped around during very short mind melds. Also didn't Spock and T'Pring literally swap bodies not too long ago? I don't think other katric transfers in Trek back up your claim that it needs a long period of time.

It's not plausible he could have transferred everything in the scant seconds he was touching McCoy. Therefore he must have established a telepathic link that continued during that time. So it transferred at whatever rate is normal and once the body is dead the last bit jumps over all at once...

Star Trek: Pathfinder #2: The Prodigal Captain

Beaumont stood at the railing, looking down at the weapon that Proudfoot called Achilles. It was a truly massive construct, stretching hundreds of meters down the bay, mounted along the spine of the Vanguard. Dozens of people surrounded the weapon, replacing components, calling out readings...

Ok, just to be clear, was it implied that literal orgies were happening in "Naked Now" or am I being malicious?!?

...inside a car were caught in a 2001 hurricane and died. I personally feel Maryland dodges a lot of weather bullets, especially compared to Florida and all the Midwest chaos that gets year-round nightly-news coverage along with the emotionally devastated homeowners ABC endlessly exploits for...

DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Yeah, that's why you wrote the response you did. It's just a common stereotype we have about U.S. standards. Graphic decapitation is okay. Bare breasts aren't. We used to have nudity on public television here, but it's gotten more conservative in recent decades.

I'm not stupid. I knew you were joking, but I didn't find the premise of the joke valid. Just because you think something is a joke doesn't mean it's funny, that it makes sense, or that it's immune from criticism. And it's entirely possible to "get" a joke and still think it's based on a...

DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

...because there was a lot of extended male nudity. Male nudity has always been more common in European movies and the Canadian and Quebec film ratings were a lot different than U.S. ratings back then. The U.S. always allowed violence but no naked bodies, and our system tended to be less...

DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Yeah, I mean, good grief, you wouldn't have gotten male frontal nudity in anything less than an X or NC-17 movie, probably, though there was plenty of female nudity in '80s R-rated movies. It's odd how these days, there seems to be plenty of male nudity on TV-MA shows, but much less female...

My personal theory is this was the first episode finished after the strike, and it was a rush job.

Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 3x07 - "What Is Starfleet?"

Yeah, I gave this one a three out of ten, ultimately. First SNW episode I've personally rated this low. It's a swing and a miss. A potentially good episode buried under amateurish docu-filming gimmicks and featuring a journalist character who is bad at his job, unethical in his approach...

DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Your original line was a joke, but then you added "By today's standards that would give it a harsher rating then back then," which implied you were seriously defending it. So you're sending mixed messages, and that confuses me.

...movie and had to take them out of the theater bawling.) And it's not that PG-13 is a harsher rating; it's that the meaning of G and PG ratings has been shifted so far down the maturity spectrum that PG-13 has spread out to engulf pretty much everything that used to be PG, and some things...

DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

There was smoking, swearing, sexual innuendo, sexual content. By today's standards that would give it a harsher rating then back then.
